Counsellor and psychotherapist based in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. I work with adults, one-on-one, in talk therapy.
I've always been genuinely curious about people, not in an analytical way, but the kind of curiosity that makes you want to actually understand someone's story. That's been true long before I became a therapist.
That curiosity has taken me through some real life experiences, international travel, yoga teacher training, and a long-standing interest in dream and symbol work. All of it has shaped the way I listen and the way I sit with people.
People tend to feel comfortable here fairly quickly. I think it's because I'm not trying to fix you and I'm not pretending to be neutral. I'm present, I ask real questions, and I'm genuinely interested in the person sitting across from me.
A lot of my work is with neurodivergent people, adults navigating a late diagnosis, burnout, or the day-to-day experience of a brain that doesn't fit the default mould. I bring a neuroaffirming, strengths-based lens to that work. I'm not here to help anyone mask better.
I work with adults individually, in person in Nambour or online. Sessions run for 50 minutes.
Get in touchMy foundation is Person-Centred therapy, your values, your pace, your sense of what matters. From there I bring in other approaches as they become useful.
Your needs and values guide the work. You're the expert on your own experience.
Present-moment awareness. What's happening right now in the room tells us a lot.
Understanding and working with different parts of yourself, including the ones you'd rather not look at.
Exploring the stories we carry about ourselves and finding room to rewrite them.
Bringing the body into the conversation, because the body keeps score.
The unconscious speaks in images. Dream work can be a surprisingly direct route to what's underneath.
A few things that matter to me in how I work:
I'm not a blank wall. I'm warm, direct, and genuinely present in the room with you. That matters more than performing clinical detachment.
There's no pressure to get anywhere fast. We move at a pace that feels safe for you, and I follow your lead on what's ready to explore.
Whether or not you have a diagnosis, I don't assume neurotypical is the standard we're aiming for. Different brains need different approaches.
Therapy is a conversation, not homework. The work happens in the room, between two people who are paying attention to each other.
Send me a message and we can have a brief chat before committing to anything.
