I have always had a genuine interest in the lives and experiences of others, fuelling my curiosity to discover new ideas, possibilities, and perspectives. This natural inquisitiveness has led me to explore international travel, undergo yoga teacher training, delve into dream work, and engage in teaching and performing circus arts, among other passions and pursuits. Through these experiences, I've developed deep listening skills, enabling me to connect with people from all walks of life. Positive feedback attests to the value of my presence, and clients have commented on feeling safe and connected with me in a meaningful way during therapy.

I myself, am an AuDHD (Autistic and ADHDer) therapist, and my personal experiences uniquely inform my approach as a therapist. I understand first-hand the intricacies of navigating living in a neurotypical world, and offer a perspective that goes beyond theoretical knowledge. My neurodivergent lens allows me to create an empathetic and understanding therapeutic space allowing me to recognize the strength in our differences and the importance of embracing individual uniqueness. This shared understanding can be a powerful foundation for our work together, fostering a connection that goes beyond conventional therapeutic dynamics.

Prior to my work as a therapist, I have held roles as a youth worker, a behaviour support practitioner and led group play-based therapy for young autistic children. These experiences have honed my abilities to be patient, empathetic, and compassionate. In my work with disadvantaged youth, I learned the importance of creating a safe and non-judgmental space for young people to express themselves and feel heard. As a behaviour support practitioner and leading group play-based therapy sessions, I gained invaluable knowledge and skills in working with neurodiverse populations and their families. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the complexities of neurodiversity and the importance of providing strength-based support that empowers individuals to be their authentic selves. These qualities and experiences have greatly contributed to my abilities as a therapist, allowing me to connect with and support clients from a place of genuine care and understanding.
